The Holy Loch and Argyll Forest are on your doorstep, and an adventure out will take you into the Trossachs and the national park around Loch Lomand. There are some fantastic golf courses in the area, and you are welcome to borrow a set of clubs from the house. Fishing, mainly trout, is available on the rivers and lochs and nearby stables provide horses for hacking. While local pubs with roaring peat fires, and some nearby restaurant serving excellent local cuisine, will help you get a real appreciation for great Scottish hospitality.
