Interior & Grounds

The main castle sleeps sixteen adults and four children, and the castle apartment sleeps a further six adults and one child. The main part of the house can be taken on its own or together with the apartment – if both are let the total accommodation extends to twenty two adults and five children. The castle itself has six reception rooms, including a drawing room, dining room, library, morning room, informal sitting room and an 800 sq ft ballroom, an exceptional feature.

The castle’s private grounds extend to 4 acres including rolling lawns, parkland and pretty woodlands which are home to roe dear.

GROUND FLOOR

Dining Room: Large dining table seating up to twenty two, open fire, diners are provided with crystal and fine porcelain.

Kitchen: A large room with wooden floor and gas cooking range

Conservatory: Authentic Victorian wood framed conservatory that serves as a utility room and has a washing machine, dryer and American-style fridge freezer with ice maker.

Sitting Room: Morning room with wooden floor and open fire. Sky TV with full package.

Salon: Drawing room with open fire and solid oak floor. Fantastic views of the loch.

Music Room: Enormous ballroom with grand piano, parquet floor and open fire. Superb loch views

THE APARTMENT

First floor: Large living room with wooden floors, day bed (can sleep an extra guest) great views, and Sky TV with full package. Double bedroom with four-poster bed and Victorian bath in the room itself. Shower room/WC with luxury jet shower and wooden floor. Fully equipped kitchen with great views over the water and original tiled floor plus door leading to outdoor seating area.

Second Floor: Double bedroom with four-poster bed, additional day bed (can sleep an extra guest), Sky TV with full package. Bathroom/W.C. With wooden floor and Jacuzzi bath with shower attachment.

Third Floor: Double bedroom with four-poster bed and door leading to gardens. En suite Bathroom/W.C with wooden floor, Jacuzzi bath with shower attachment.
