The estate and surrounding Perthshire countryside offers a fantastic opportunity for hiking and highland explorations, and there are well-mapped trails and guides available to help you discover the stunning beauty of this glorious part of Scotland. The estate also has an extensive range of sports and activities, with extensive parklands, lochs and rivers.

Larches Castle is close to a town, which has shops stocked with all necessary household provisions, food and drinks. The area of Blairgowrie produces world-renowned raspberries and soft fruits, with many local farms offering an opportunity to buy fresh local produce and ‘pick-your-own’ fruits. There are some beautiful castles within Royal Deeside, including Balmoral, and some pretty nearby towns, such as Braemar and Aboyne.
