General & History
This is a turreted self-catering lodge built to resemble a small castle in a romantic setting at the edge of a large freshwater loch. The house was built recently and combines a feeling of nineteenth century extravagance with contemporary comforts and facilities. It is approached by a private driveway that takes visitors along the Loch, and is the perfect hideaway for those wishing to take in the magnificent scenery of the Grampian mountain region whilst living in style.
The great thing about Grampian Lodge is that despite being so secluded and apparently remote, it is in fact very well connected to the rest of Scotland by road or rail, with several major towns within an hours drive. This beautiful lakeside property sleeps eight and is the perfect location for families and groups of friends wishing to explore the highlands, combining peace and outdoor pursuits with accessibility.
