Eireachd Lodge is surrounded by glorious countryside, on the edge of the highlands with moors, lochs and glens to explore.  Fishing for brown trout is available on the estate, and a permit can be arranged. Stalking and hunting for red roe deer can be arranged on the estate surrounding the lodge, by prior arrangement and in the appropriate season. The surrounding area has a great range of outdoor pursuits, which can be arranged through the nearby activity centre. White water rafting is available along the river, as are other watersports on the lochs. There is also horseriding available at the local trekking centre and golf at the nearby courses.

The estate has helicopter-landing facilities, which can be booked from Edinburgh, Dundee or Inverness.
