A chance meeting led to the discovery and punctilious restoration of this rugged 17th century building – once a casa padronale, then a centre for the arts followed by ten years of desuetude, and in its most recent incarnation, a monument to discreet good taste, a country haven for rent by up to twenty five discerning Italophiles. A garden generously endowed with variety and interest - broad sunshine and shaded corners - along with a splendid swimming pool ensures summer comfort, and effective underfloor heating along with huge traditional fireplaces makes the Villa a welcoming winter refuge or Christmas venue.
