The owner, once a journalist, now spends most of her time here. If you so desire, she will cook for you, using the traditional cuisine of Puglia as interpreted in the recipe books that have been passed down to her, and her homemade jams and marmalades will bring savour to your breakfast. The vegetables come from her own kitchen garden. Cooking lessons, painting drawing and sculpture courses, tastings of the local wines and olive oils can be arranged. The sea is a few minutes’ drive away, as are tennis, golf, sailing, biking and trekking. The owners can arrange guided tours of the locality.

Vento di Mare is an excellent location for workshops or business meetings with all necessary audio-visual equipment, Wi-Fi, phones and computers available. The owners can cater for meals and coffee breaks.
