Simpson Castle, which lies in its own 200 acre woodland estate is approached via a tree lined avenue and has a homely, yet grand appearance. Flanked by an ancient turret to one side and the ruin of a former castle building to the other, it is steeped in ancient history, with its colourful and literary past spanning some 700 years.
Today the Castle is available for exclusive use rental, sleeping up to fourteen in eight individually styled bedrooms, four of which are en suite. For larger groups there is additional accommodation available in a courtyard apartment.
