Grounds
There is a large, south facing terrace complete with teak table and chairs. Remnants of the property’s past are evident in the millstone and remains of the sideshot mill. There is further garden furniture and of course loungers by the pool. The pool is 12m x 6m and has underwater lighting which creates a beautiful sight in the evening. After an energetic swim, guests might want to make use of the large stone barbecue.
There is plenty of space for games and other activities within the property. There is a bridge over the millstream which runs through the gardens and across the meadow further bridges over the small River Vert for exploring the grounds. There is also a table tennis table.
Across the valley is a railway line on which occasional trains can be just about seen, and heard.
