Interior & Grounds

The main house is arranged around a pretty courtyard, around and 26ft circular swimming pool with a safety alarm and shower, with a paved terrace, sun loungers and a shady arbour. With nearly four acres of gardens, including lawns, Mulberry trees centuries old, Cypresses, Holm Oaks, and Umbrella Pines providing shade from the hot midday sun, and create a delightful gardens. Al fresco dining and entertaining have been provided for with a barbeque, picnic tables, table tennis and a children's playground.  The estate is surrounded by a fence and has electric gates, there is also ample parking and a large bicycle shed, and tennis courts available nearby at no extra charge.

Interior

The chateau is arranged over seven self-contained apartments, each with an open-plan kitchen and bathrooms, offering families privacy and space within a larger shared holiday rental, making this chateau an economical option for larger parties.  Each kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, electric deep fryer, and toaster.

The main kitchen is located in apartment four, which also has a washing machine. This industrial-style kitchen is fully equipped to cater for a full house, approximately 40 guests. There is also a central living room and dining space, very large and spacious, with a mezzanine sitting room with great views of the gardens, shaded arbour and swimming pool.

Apartment one

This apartment consists of three bedrooms, sleeping six guests.  There is a twin bedroom with built-in cupboards. The second bedroom is a double bedroom with queen size bed and built-in wardrobes.  The third bedroom is a twin bedroom with a washbasin.  The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. There is an additional WC with washbasin.

Apartment Two

The apartment is located on the second floor, and has a large terrace overlooking the vineyards and garden.  Arranged as a studio with mezzanine floor, it sleeps two or three guests. The mezzanine bedroom has twin single beds. There is living room with an open-plan kitchen, and a second sitting room, with a sofa bed, which sleeps up to two.  There is also a dining area for eight to ten guests. The bathroom has a shower, hand basin, and toilet.

Apartment Three

This is a large apartment, which sleeps six to eight guests over two floors. The spacious open-plan living room consists of a lounge area and dining room, seating eight around the table.  The apartment room is laid with the original terracotta floor tiles, has a large fireplace with a sofa bed sleeping up to two guests.  There is also a well-equipped open-plan kitchen and cellar room.  There are three bedrooms on the first floor - the first is a twin bedroom with wardrobes built-in.  The second bedroom is a double bedroom with a queen-size bed, wardrobes and a washbasin.  The third bedroom is a twin bedroom, also with a washbasin.  The bathroom has a shower, double hand basin and a toilet.  There is also a separate WC with a hand basin.

Apartment Four

This is a large apartment, accommodating eight to ten guests. In the centre is a very spacious living area, with a high ceiling, filled with light from the window in the roof.  The dining room seats twenty, and has French windows opening onto the patio, shaded by a Romanesque columned arbour and the circular swimming pool.  The open-plan kitchen is designed to cater for large parties, with plenty of cutlery, crockery, and all necessary equipment – such as a double electric stove and electric grill, a large deep fat fryer, and a freezer. There is also a utility room with a washing machine, and two separate WCs, each with a hand basin.

Upstairs there is a mezzanine floor, with a comfortable lounge area/library with a fireplace. The sofa bed can sleep two more guests. There is a master bedroom on this split-level, with a queen-size double bed.  The Bathroom has a bath, hand basin, and additional wardrobe space built-in. There is a second bathroom with a shower room and hand basin and a separate WC.

Leading up to the second floor is a quaint wrought-iron spiral staircase, and three twin bedrooms accommodating six guests, each with a washbasin.  There is also a bathroom with a shower and washbasin.

Apartment Five

This apartment is arranged over two floors with a terrace and can accommodate up to four guests, perfect for family.  On the ground floor is a delightful lounge area with a fireplace, comfortable modular sofas and rug, with a television, study area and books.  The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a microwave, toaster and fridge, with a dining table seating eight guests. The wooden staircase leads to the master bedroom with double queen size bed, an additional sofa bed perfect for the children, and built-in storage.  The en-suite bathroom has a bath, shower, and two hand basins.  There is also a separate WC.

Apartment Six

This is a family suite, sleeping three people in two bedrooms – the first bedroom has a double queen-size bed and the second bedroom has a single bed, here is ample storage with the wardrobes built-in.  The bathroom has a bath, washbasin and a toilet.

Apartment Seven

Located on the second floor, this is a four-person apartment, with a large living room with a double sofa bed.   This room adjoins the open-plan lounge and dining area, which can seat up to ten guests, and a kitchen. The bedroom is a twin bedroom, with two single beds and wardrobes built-in. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, and additional storage with the built-in wardrobe.  There is also separate WC.
