General & History
This wonderful country house was built in the early 1300s and has since been moulded by the passing centuries to become the somewhat exotic yet tranquil property which stands today. The property sleeps 10 people in 5 stylish bedrooms and guests will appreciate unusual features such as the indoor winter garden with a fully grown bougainvillea amongst other interesting flora. The atmosphere of this unusual and enchanting building is enhanced by the equally amazing Turkish/Ottoman influenced décor.
The musical can take advantage of the grand piano, those trying to escape from endless renditions of ‘Chopsticks’ can hide in the library found in the tower and the more energetic guests might fancy a swim in followed by a spell in the Jacuzzi.
There is an outdoor terrace with elegant furniture including a dining table and chairs, perfect for outdoor meals. The large garden at the front has space for games amongst the olive and cypress trees.
This wondrous 800sqm dwelling was the farmhouse of a chateau burnt down during the battles between the Catholics and Protestants.
