Interior & Grounds
The lower rooms of the manoir are arranged over three levels, the lower room being partly underground, which has an enchanting atmosphere, beautiful vaulted ceilings and exposed stone walls. The staircase leads you up to the hallway on the first level, which is bright and airy. The formal dining room is on a grand scale, with wonderful views out over the pool, and the kitchen is fully equipped to cater for the house. The sitting room is beautifully dressed, with antique furnishings, unique Moroccan artifacts and a grand piano. There is also a television room, which has satellite television. The charming winter garden is located on the upper ground floor, which also has an electronic piano and music system for entertainments.
The first double bedroom is located on the upper ground floor with a very handsome king size bed, there is also an opulent circular sofa. The room is very spacious with high ceilings, boasting original beams and a beautiful tiled floor. Down the spiral staircase is the luxury spa-style bathroom, with gorgeous hexagon bath and separate shower, as well as a Jacuzzi and sauna. In an adjacent wing is the second bedroom suite, which has a double bedroom and an en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. This spacious bedroom suite opens onto a south-facing terrace, filling the room with glorious sunshine.
Bedrooms three and four are both double bedrooms, and there is a large family bathroom. Bedroom five has a comfortable double bed and en suite bathroom with a shower room and toilet. Additional children’s bedrooms can be arranged and are available upon request. There is also a large southeasterly terrace on this floor. Circular stairs lead up to the first floor, with a beautiful sun-filled tower room with a library and stunning views across the Languedoc countryside.
The estate is entered through a grand gated entrance that leads into the courtyard. The outdoor swimming pool is to the right, with colourful Moorish tiles, and is illuminated in the evenings to create a magical ambiance. The gardens have a Mediterranean feel, with shady cypresses and olive trees. There is a well-equipped games room opposite the manoir.
