Chateau la Marquise Angelique is a stunning medieval castle, available for holiday rental, and has seven luxurious bedrooms, spacious living rooms and generous gardens with an outdoor swimming pool. Located in a pretty village in the foothills of the Black Mountains, this fortified château can accommodate fourteen guests for luxury self-catering holidays.  Alternatively, the holiday château can be hired, fully serviced, with a team of helpful staff.

Located in the Minervois region, the rolling hills and verdant woodland vales are reminiscent of the Tuscan landscape.  Commanding stunning views over this glorious countryside, the castle was built in the 1100s as a Cathar defence. The evolving French architectural styles throughout the centuries are reflected in this castle’s beautiful ancient features.
