Terms & Conditions

- Security deposit: There is no security deposit if hiring on a B&B basis. If hiring on a self catering basis there is a 1,000 euros security deposit that must be paid in cleared funds before arrival or in cash upon arrival. This amount will be refunded by a sterling or euro cheque within a week of departure.

- Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.

- Energy costs: Electricity and central heating oil are metered and are charged in addition for self catering bookings. There is oil fired central heating, a wood burner and open log fires in the salon and kitchen. The chateau is very cosy and warm in winter. For B&B bookings there is a daily energy charge of 20 euros between May and September and 60 euros between October and April. Energy charges are paid directly to the owner.

- Cleaning & catering: If you choose the B&B option there is a daily charge of 144 euros for breakfast and cleaning for up to 12 people. This charge is paid on arrival direct to the owner. If you hire the chateau for a week on a self catering basis there is a compulsory mid week cleaning charge of 75 euros. Daily cleaning and catering is available upon request for those hiring on a self catering basis.

- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.

- Departure time: 10.30am.

- Pets: Pets are not allowed.

- Smoking: No smoking in the property.

- It is recommended that all guests take out insurance to cover against potential cancellation and any accidental damage caused during your stay at the property.
