Ground Floor

Reception Rooms:

The grand living spaces of the château have been designed for entertaining, and we have a huge and very elegant ground floor open plan living area, which is the ideal location to host your party or wedding reception.  French windows open onto the sun drenched terrace and gardens, and there are huge windows which flood the room with light. There is a charming grand piano in the room, and formal dining for fourteen has been arranged at one end of this large, open-plan room, with stunning fireplaces at either end. The salon area has elegant seating and comfortable leather sofas. There is also a library, which has an excellent selection of books, large satellite television with UK channels and DVD collection.

The kitchen/breakfast diner is a large room, which extends the width of the house, with full culinary equipment, such as:  Large range cooker, wood burning oven, electric oven, microwave, fridges and freezer and all necessary appliances. There is also a dining table for breakfasts and informal meals. There is a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, extra refrigeration and icemaker. There is also a WC on the ground floor.

First Floor

There are four stunning bedrooms on the first floor, all of which are en suite. Dressed and furnished to luxury hotel standard, each bedroom has an individual style, which combines classic French elegance with contemporary finishes, luxury linens and soft furnishings.

Bedroom one is a large double bedroom, which features elegant furnishings, luxurious bed linens and a sofa.  The en suite bathroom is large, has magnificent views over the gardens and a bath in the middle of the room.

Bedroom two is a twin bedroom, the walls are lined in decadent yellow silk, the beds are good-sized singles, and there is and en suite shower room.

Bedroom three is a large double bedroom, the bed is dressed in stunning drapes, there is a silk-upholstered sofa, and the en suite bathroom has a bath and over-head shower.

Bedroom four is a double bedroom, the empire-style bed is dressed in cool white linens with beautiful green silk soft furnishings, and the en suite is a shower room.

Second floor

There are two further bedrooms on the upper floor: 

Bedroom five is the family suite, with a comfortable double bed, a single bed and space for an additional folding bed, which can be arranged according to your requirements. The room also has a study area, sofa, and the large en suite is a shower room.

Bedroom six is a double bedroom, it is dressed in sumptuous red fabrics, has a half tester king sized bed and there is a magnificent claw-foot bath with amazing views over the garden. There is also and en suite WC.

Gardens

Shady pines and handsome mature trees frame the extensive gardens, ancient laurel hedging creates a comforting feeling of privacy and seclusion, and there are bouncy lawns on which to frolic and play. The beautifully maintained gardens have set the scene for many weddings and formal outdoor functions, and a marquee and decoration can be arranged to provide elegant surrounds for your party.

The 4m swimming pool is available during the summer, while barbeques can be enjoyed on the terrace, with plenty of garden furniture as well as deck chairs to loll about on. There are over four acres of gardens, with swings and play areas, and there is parking available for dozens of cars.
