The chateau is located on the Contentin peninsula, in peaceful countryside a few minutes from the small historic town Valognes with all necessary shops. You are only twenty minutes from the Normandy landing beaches, and museums and galleries, as well as the Bayeux Museum. There are also good beaches for bathing only fifteen minutes away, as well as exceptional nature reserves, parks and historic towns nearby. The surrounding countryside is a real delight to discover on foot or bike, through the winding trails, or further afield by car.
