We can provide a delicious four-course menu to suit taste and budget, delivered to the door, and get a real taste of the delicious, locally sourced ingredients. There are two menus, regarding main course options, with prices per person, per meal:

Sample menu:

Canapés: Savoury hot appetisers, eg tartlets and cold canapés

Starters:

Pate, smoked salmon, prawns, smoked duck breast or duck foie gras

Veal sweetbreads with a pastry lid

Sea food platter e.g. crab, prawns, whelks, mussels, etc. (between 2 people)

Main Course Menu 2, £27, price includes canapés, starter, main course, cheese, dessert, and bread:

Half a lobster with fresh mayonnaise

Scallops in a creamy cheese sauce

Turbot with morel mushrooms

Monkfish with mixed herbs

Fillet steak in a truffle sauce

Haunch of venison

Prime cut of duck with green peppercorns

Rack of lamb with herbs

Murder Mystery Experiences

A tailor-made evening's entertainment can be arranged for up to fourteen guests. Always fun and exciting, you will also get a deeper understanding of the history of the estate. First we ask you to complete a short Questionnaire to help us shape the characters, plot and objectives for your tailor-made murder mystery experience and design your very own bespoke murder mystery game to play during your stay at Château des Peupliers and to keep afterwards.

Choose from an evening of:  ‘La Chasse: The thrill of the hunt is in the chase',  'Whiffy Business: An ill-fated foray into cheese making' or 'Dangerous Tipple: The highs and lows of cider brewing'.

Prices are £250 for one game, £450 for two games and £600 for all three, which includes: Personalised plot and characters, game instructions, character cards, clues and props, audio CDs as appropriate, costume suggestion cards, menu suggestion cards, music suggestion card, glossary of French terms, place cards and a presentation box.

Optional Extras

In addition we can even arrange for a gourmet French five-course meal to be provided for you and your guests during your French Murder Mystery experience at Château des Peupliers.
