Interior & Grounds

Interior: At basement level is the original vaulted kitchen and two ante-rooms. 

On the ground floor, there are 4 reception rooms and a modern, well equipped kitchen, together with the main dining room which can sit up to 30, or a smaller, more intimate dining room, which can seat 10.  Both dining rooms have open aspects to the grounds. 

The large, fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, two electric ovens and electric and gas hobs as well as a separate utility area (with washing machine and tumble dryer) and larder.    Also to be found on this floor are 2 sitting rooms and a small, cosy salon with French doors leading to the terrace. This floor has its own WC.

 On the first floor, the master, turreted en-suite bedroom is the perfect spot to enjoy sunrise and sunset.  This is a large room with 4 poster bed and panoramic views.  Bedroom 2 is again a 4 poster, en-suite, large room, with sitting area and uninterrupted views.  Bedroom 3 is a suite with a king-sized bed in the turret and the possibility of adding 2 bunk beds or a second double bed. 

On the second floor, bedroom 4 boasts a 4 poster bed and an en-suite shower room, this time with a bunk bedded adjoining room.

Grounds:

Within the grounds you will find further sleeping accommodation in one of the chateau’s outhouses.  These 3 further bedrooms are the perfect place for young adults to enjoy some autonomy.

The grounds are largely flat and laid to lawn with a substantial wooded area.  The lake, which isn’t deep offers the possibility of fishing or rowing (2 boats are available for guest use).  The chateau has a small theatre (which will not be used to host events during chateau rentals) and several outbuildings.  There is a barbecue and ample space for sitting and eating al fresco.
