In 2000, the Chateau was restored from top to bottom. Every single room was completely refurbished to the last perfectionist detail. The first floor bedrooms – single and double with matching en suite bathrooms - are restful oases each with a distinct character, furnished with fine antiques, decorated with quiet harmonious colours, and overlooking a soothing view of the quiet pond and the endless woodland beyond the estate – rise early and you will very likely see the local wildlife, from deer to red squirrels, at home in their habitat. And then enjoy a proper continental breakfast in the dining room. For guests with special needs we have a custom-designed room with easy wheelchair access.

The Domaine de Montmerveille does not have a restaurant as such, instead we are pleased to offer a selection of cold plates for your mid-day meal. There is a huge variety of gourmet restaurants within a short drive, or catering can also be arranged, should you prefer to remain within the serene confines of the estate, watching the swans gliding on the pool and the sunset from the terrace.
