General & History
Perched on a hill, the quirky and idiosyncratic 15th century chateau looks out onto a panoramic view of the River Creuse winding through the lush green countryside of the Loire region, and its own extensive 10 hectares of land. There is a convenient restaurant and a boulangerie within walking distance. Château Le Chais is a relaxed venue for a large group of family and friends numbering up to 28.
Within the grounds is a heated swimming pool, fenced and gated for safety, and a tennis court kept in excellent condition is just a short walk away. There is plenty to keep children occupied, including the delights of having a real river flow through the bottom of the garden.
