General & History
A wonderful castle of faultless and delicate symmetry enlivened by a pair of quaint striped towers, with a view across gentle hills towards one of the most beautiful medieval towns of France. Within easy walking distance is a little treasure of a town, wonderfully convenient for the necessities of life.
Built in the late 1700s by a chevalier with a mad architectural streak, the chateau has been thoroughly and stylishly modernised with family entertainment in mind – within is a spacious games room with table tennis and other amusements, and in the four hectares of wooded parkland and garden you will find a fenced and gated swimming pool with shallow steps, an adventure area for children, a flower garden and a walled potager for those of a horticultural bent.
