General & History
This 15th Century chateau, situated in the Loire countryside, is set on a hill overlooking the river Creuse. The property lies in its own grounds of 10 hectares on the edge of a small village with a restaurant and boulangerie. The chateau is perfectly suited to family groups of up to 28 and represents great value for money.
There is a gated, heated swimming-pool, lots of on site activities for the children and a river at the bottom of the garden. A modern and well maintained tennis court is available 200m away (down a path that leads out from the chateau). The Pays de la Loire lies in the heart of France. This is where the French Kings built the finest chateaux through the ages. Within an hour of the Chateau you have the perfect opportunity to explore some of them, most notably Azay-le-Rideau, Loches, Chenonceaux, Valençay and Villandry.
