Ground floor
Entrance Hall: The entrance hall has exposed beams, a flagstone floor and an impressive stone staircase.
Kitchen: Comprehensively equipped with professional cooker, large fridge freezer and dishwasher.
Sitting Room: Spacious, comfortably furnished room with an ancient and unusual stone pottager and heavily beamed ceiling, has a monumental stone fireplace and is warmed during the winter months by underfloor heating. A door leads outside to the terrace.
Dining Room: Also with beamed ceiling and stone walls, with a door to the garden and terracotta tiled floors. The two oak dining tables provide seating for fourteen people.
There is a second kitchen and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer at the back of the house and off the hallway is a cloakroom with WC.
First Floor
At the top of the stone staircase is a landing which leads to the three bedrooms on this floor, all beautifully furnished and with large windows and polished wooden floorboards. All bed linen and mattresses are of the highest quality and each room has ample wardrobe space.
Bedroom 1: This lovely bedroom off the main landing is furnished with an antique sledge double bed, a chestnut armoire, a polished wood fireplace and armchairs. The decoration is in eau-de-nil with a blue/green fitted carpet. It has a large, light filled en suite bathroom with two washbasins and WC.
Bedroom 2: This pretty room with twin beds, decorated in soft green and yellow shades, has a stone fireplace, an antique sofa and mahogany wardrobe. The ensuite bathroom has a bath with shower attachment, two washbasins and WC.
Bedroom 3: This, the most luxurious bedroom with its own door to the garden, has a king size double bed, a wonderful panelled mahogany fireplace and antique armchairs. Predominately decorated in creamy pink with Cardinal red accents, it has an oak beamed ceiling and a polished wooden floor. The spacious bathroom has a Jacuzzi, two wash basins and a WC.
Bedroom 4: This large and airy bedroom on the second floor is approached from the same staircase as bedroom five. It has a large wrought-iron double bed and a single bed and is decorated in ochres and red, setting off the exposed oak beams and antique furniture. The bathroom has a bath, two basins and WC.
Bedroom 5: Light, bright, in primrose and white, this pretty bedroom has a double bed and painted rustic furniture. The ensuite bath room has twin basins, a corner bath and WC.
Bedroom 6: A separate staircase leads to this bedroom suite under the eaves with its wonderful views of the Pyrenees. It consists of a large cream bedroom with a mirrored wardrobe, double bed of carved mahogany, splendid oriental carpet and a large en suite bathroom.
Outside: The lovely chateau garden which surrounds the house has many mature trees and is well stocked with shrubs and plants. As well as a courtyard at the front there is a sunny terrace ideal for dining on warm summer evenings, with wonderful views to the distant mountains in the south.
