Internet access is available in the chateau and there is a fax machine in La Maison.
Chateau: Comprises six beautifully furnished double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, all with ensuite bathrooms, as well as a magnificent kitchen, a comfortable living room and a study. The accommodation has both historical splendour in a wealth of antique furnishings, together with all modern conveniences.
The chateau has gas central heating and its own private swimming pool.
Pigeonnier: Self contained and private, despite being part of the chateau, the Pigeonnier has two bedrooms, a living room and and a well equipped kitchen including microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. The two bedrooms and attractive bathroom are on the first floor; one double bedroom has a cot and the other is a twin. There is also a room in the attic - suitable maybe for a lover of solitude.
With central heating, the Pigeonnier makes a snug and cosy base for a winter holiday in the Dordogne.
Outside the Pigeonnier is the garden, with outdoor furniture, and shade provided by two mature chestnut trees. The swimming pool, safely secured from children, is nearby.
La Maison du Parc: Also private and self contained, La Maison contains eight double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Four of the double bedrooms have doors opening into a private garden.
A spacious reception room (also suitable for conferences) opens onto the terrace, and a fully equipped kitchen has everything for the most demanding cook.
Outside: Situated on top of a hill, the chateau’s eight hectares command superb views, and its ancient paths will tempt the walker and the cyclist deep into the countryside. Explore the estate’s various attractions - its orchards and kitchen gardens, its acres of wild woodland, and the tame deer in The Big Field with their companions, the friendly donkeys and goats.
The more adventurous may want to go horseriding or have a round of golf - maybe even bounce on the trampoline!
And if the summer heat gets too much, simply relax by or in one of the pools where you can enjoy a barbecue in the cool of the evening.
