Ground floor: All the rooms on the ground floor open out onto the terrace with swimming pool and sun loungers, the river and attendant wildlife a constant and ever changing background.
The entrance hall leads to the fully equipped kitchen, the dining room, conference room and living room. There is also a scullery, a cool larder, a WC and laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
First floor: A spiral staircase leads to the first and second floors.
The first floor has a landing and a library with a balcony overlooking the Dordogne- a most spectacular view!
There are three bedrooms on this floor, the largest suite- decorated in gold and yellow- having a king sized bed and French doors opening onto a balcony over the swimming pool and river. It also has two easy chairs which convert to single beds. There is a small sitting room in the tower and an ensuite bathroom dressed in marble.
The second bedroom is decorated in yellow and mauve and can be either a double or twin. French doors open onto a balcony over the river. There is a marble bathroom ensuite.
The third bedroom, double and decorated in pink and green, also has a balcony overlooking the pool and marble ensuite bathroom.
Second floor: There are three more bedrooms on the second floor, a small double room in blue and white and ensuite marble shower room, a double or twin bedroom in red with ensuite shower room, and a charming double or twin room decorated in magenta and green, again with ensuite shower room. All bath and shower rooms have a washbasin and WC.
WiFi extends throughout the château which also has good mobile phone reception and all rooms have television receiving French channels only.
Outside: The extensive terracing of Château La Lindeau offers scope for outside breakfasts, lunches, candlelit dinners or simply relaxing by the infinity pool with cocktails. There is a variety of chairs, tables and loungers to relax in and the pool has a safety alarm and can be entirely fenced off if necessary. The terrace and pool area is walled on the village side for total privacy.
Smoking is forbidden in the château but guests may smoke outside.
The château has steps down to the edge of the river- a delight for the keen angler!
