The chateau is at the centre of France’s fois gras and truffle region and well situated for gastronomic and wine tours. The Dordogne valley is renowned for its castles and chateaus, its caves and grottoes - all within easy reach of the chateau. Horse lovers not only have riding stables locally, but are also close to the lovely race track at Pomoadour, which has dressage and eventing during spring and early summer.
