Interior & Grounds
The chateau’s 17 bedrooms can accommodate 41 guests. Three cots are available without charge.
Lower ground floor: A cool and atmospheric reception room with stone vaulting and antique furniture provides access to the park.
There is also a well stocked wine cellar and laundry room on this floor.
Ground floor:
The handsome half-timbered dining room is furnished with antiques. There is also a bar and a breakfast room with a fireplace and rustic furniture.
One can relax in front of the fireplace in the elegant wood panelled sitting room, or watch television or play cards in an unusual round living room.
Those wishing to study can find tranquillity in the library adjoining the living room, which is furnished with antiques.
Bedroom: one double bedroom in a round tower.
The reception hall is equipped with all necessary equipment for communicating with the outside world - computer with internet facility, phone, fax, et cetera.
Cold drinks are always available from the fridge in the utility room and there’s also coffee.
First and second floors: The six bedrooms on the first floor, and the seven on the second floor, consist of suites, lounge and double rooms - all with double beds, and some with added single beds. All bedrooms are elegantly furnished with antique furniture, and all have ensuite bathrooms, some in the round stone towers.
All bedrooms have television and some have minibars. As one would expect, all the bedrooms are quiet and have excellent views of the surrounding countryside.
Pavillion: There are two double bedrooms, both with TVs and ensuite bathrooms on the ground floor. The first floor has a suite with a twin bedroom, and a living room containing another single bed, as well as a bathroom ensuite.
The Pavillion also has two reception rooms and its own kitchen as well as a WC.
Outside: The chateau’s parkland is fenced and offers twenty acres of gardens and woodland to lose oneself in - the entire region is a paradise for nature lovers, with a great variety of birds and animals indigenous to the area.
One can relax on the outdoor furniture on the lawns of the chateau, or lounge beside the swimming pool, which is equipped with a safety alarm.
The more energetic can participate in the many games available: badminton, table tennis and volleyball, to name but a few.
Tennis courts and horse riding stables are within easy reach of the chateau.
The chateau also has parking space for many cars.
