Chateau de la Chataigne is a delightful, intimate chateau set in parkland and surrounded by the lovely countryside of the Dordogne valley. The elegant rooms are tastefully furnished, and provide an ideal venue for a family holiday or parties of up to twenty guests. There is a large swimming pool and the chateau offers a variety of pursuits including table tennis and snooker, and a piano that is regularly tuned.

The large and lovely grounds provide peace and relaxation, and the opportunity for birdwatching and rambling in the surrounding countryside, or else simply sitting by the pool with a book.

Connisseurs of wine will be in their element, with frequent wine tastings and tours of local vineyards in an area famous for its purple grapes.
