Interior & Grounds

The chateau’s elegance is matched by the comfort of its rooms which boast wood panelling and parquet flooring, imposing marble fireplaces and authentic period furnishing. Each spacious and comfortable suite has king size beds dressed with fine linen, and luxurious ensuite bathrooms. All the rooms have wonderful views of the countryside, and all have flat screen satellite televisions, DVD players and telephones.

Basement: Not only is there a well stocked wine cellar but also a large kitchen.

Ground floor: The ground floor contains two dining rooms, a large elegant drawing room, an extremely well appointed modern kitchen, a television room, a library, a comprehensively equipped office, two WCs and a large outside terrace with seating for forty people.

First floor: There are two elegant and spacious suites on the first floor, both with double bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms and exquisitely furnished sitting rooms. There are also three double bedrooms with bathrooms ensuite.

Second floor: There are seven double bedrooms with lovely views, two bathrooms and a shower room on the second floor.

General: There are smoke alarms throughout (smoking is not allowed in the chateau) and an alarm system that is connected to the local police station.

All appliances in the kitchen and washing room are of the highest standard.

Outside: Within the twelve acres of parkland is a Gite of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. The gardens are walled and fenced so children and animals can wander free with complete security. The twelve by six metre swimming pool is fenced and alarmed and furnished with tables, chairs and luxury sunbeds. There is a barbecue area for forty guests and sports and games of many kinds are on offer: tennis, badminton, table tennis and bicycling.
