A day trip to the small city of Reims, the capital of Champagne production, is well worth your while: many of the famous Champagne Houses offer tours of their cellars and tastings for the public. Just 4 kilometres from the estate is a Michelin-starred restaurant. 

The entire property is fenced so children may be left free to roam and exercise their imaginations: playing hide and seek among the trees, swimming in the river (an opportunity in which most modern children never get to indulge) and just luxuriating on the grass on a lazy vacation day.
