Château de Shoulz: Private chateau with tennis court in the heart of the Champagne region (a short drive to the caves of Moet & Chandon, Lanson, Veuve Clicquot etc). The river Seine runs through the 17 acre chateau estate.

Château Loristou: Only a short drive from Calais, this chateau and its surrounding gites is ideal for large groups or parties. It even has its own large party barn complete with bar and stereo system. The beautiful surroundings include a 2000 hectare forest, the Maas mountain range and the Meuse River that runs through the property.

Things to do whilst staying at your luxury chateau in Champagne:

Take in any number of the champagne houses (including Taittinger, Veuve Clicquot, Piper-Heidsieck and Moët & Chandon to name just a few) that are all located within a few kilometres of each other in Epernay & Reims. Tours of the caves and tastings are available at all of them.

Spectacular countryside can be seen in the shape of vast forests, clear lakes, green valleys, vineyards and the natural parks of ‘La Foret d’Orient’ & ‘La Montagne de Reims’.

Outdoor activities include sailing, fishing, biking & hiking against the backdrop of the verdant countryside, rivers & lakes.

Reims must be seen, not just for the champagne houses, but also for its Notre-Dame Cathedral that many consider to be France’s most impressive church.

Troyes, the ancient capital of Chamapagne, can be found just south of the vineyards and makes a great day-trip with its Gothic cathedral, 16th Century half-timber houses, museums & Renaissance manor houses.
