Special Event Catering

Most parties are here to celebrate an occasion and we often set aside one of the evenings for a Celebration Dinner. We dress the dining room and the chef will bake a special cake. Please inform us if there is anything we can arrange for you.

Country house parties

The Manoir is now available for exclusive country house parties.  These all-inclusive events give your party full use of the whole house and grounds, plus a range of sporting events and activities all within the estate. A typical Country House Party will include:

-Two or three nights’ luxury accommodation.

-Breakfast and four-course dinner.

-Wine-tasting

-Pre-dinner cocktails, house wines, port and liqueurs.

-Clay pigeon shooting, instruction and prizes.

-Croquet on the formal lawns.

-Full use of the spa pool.

-Guided tours of the garden

-We are also able to arrange at additional cost:

-Golf at La Bretesche

-Horse riding

-Fishing in season

Painting House Party with Artist-in-Residence

To coincide with the opening of our Art Gallery guests can receive first class instruction and mentoring from established local artists.

Gardening House Party

The Manoir is surrounded by one of the finest privately owned gardens in France, and our Gardening House Parties will include tours of the gardens, talks on rose growing and pruning, plant maintenance, and other local garden tours. Head gardener at Château des Galants or the garden designer who laid out the gardens, will host these parties. All partygoers will also choose a David Austin rose of their choice, as well as cuttings from the gardens.

Golfing House Party

We have some great golf courses near to the manoir: La Bretesche, a parkland course around a beautiful chateau setting, and La Baule, one of the best seaside courses in Europe.  We organize travel and at least two rounds, including prizes.

Cuisine House Party

We focus on creating local dishes, with an early morning visit to the local market to source ingredients, we then spend the day with the chef to create a Gala Dinner. There will also be wine tasting to understand more about how wines compliment certain dishes and get a good understanding of local wines.

Services

There is a daily maid service to ensure general maintenance, provide fresh tablecloths, towels and supplies.  General cleaning is left to the guests to ensure maximum privacy.

Additional cleaning is available at €15 per hour.
