Enjoy passing judgement on some of the best locally produced wines, and get a real feeling for real Bordeaux.  Additionally, the chateau is on the Circuit de Bastides et Chateaux, which allows you to discover the wines of many local estates.

Chateau Lestrilleux is only a short drive from the medieval town of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, perched on the bank of the River Lot, with its market and shops. As a bastide town, it has many interesting architectural features, and is well worth a wander. The famous vineyards of St.Emilion and Bergerac are within easy reach and, a little further, Bordeaux town itself is definitely worth a day trip. There is also horse riding, golf and tennis available locally.
