General & History
Grandeur is the keynote for this magnificent chateau built in the Classic style during the 18th century. Bordering the River Loire, it is beautifully situated in parkland and has superb gardens and orchards covering almost fifteen acres.
The chateau has been comprehensively restored by the owner who has successfully achieved both regal decor and sumptuous comfort with its wealth of elegant furnishings. Set against a background of mature trees, its Wedgwood blue shutters set off the soft cream stone of the chateau walls.
The chateau’s luxuriously appointed guest rooms can sleep up to sixteen people.
Not only is the chateau an ideal environment to simply relax but it is also a perfect centre for activities of all kinds such as water sports, horse riding, tennis, golf, hiking, or, for those of a less energetic bent, soaking up the sun by the chateau’s swimming pool.
