General & History
Llansevern Estate is composed of Llansevern House, which can accommodate 39 people, and Llansevern Carriage House, which can accommodate 23. Th estate is set amidst five acres of private land at the feet of the Brecon Beacons. The estate provides the perfect surroundings for either a weekend getaway, party, wedding or corporate break. Surrounded by hills, rivers, lakes and open moorland it is an ideal base for walks and is close to outdoor activity centres.
Llansevern House:
Llansevern House is a Grade II Georgian property and can accommodate a party of up to 39.
Since the owners purchased the house twenty years ago there have been extensive renovations, and the interior combines period features such as the Doric columns, sweeping staircase and original fireplaces in the bedrooms and main living room, with added collections of furniture and artwork found on the owner’s African and Oriental travels.
It is thought that a dwelling has been at Llansevern for a thousand years and the ten acres which make up the grounds contain much of its history, the oak tree on the front lawn being over 800 years old.
Llansevern Carriage House:
Accommodating up to 23 guests, Llansevern Carriage House is set in two acres of private land in the grounds of Llansevern House, which is situated at the feet of the Brecon Beacon.
The Carriage House has a more intimate feel than the main house. The owners have renovated and refurbished it thoroughly, with an open plan kitchen/sitting area in country style, a large curved ceilinged dining room and under floor heating, making it the perfect setting for large family gatherings.
