Ground Floor
The thoughtfully equipped, over-sized Kitchen is the hub of the home and boasts a huge island area and plenty of space for casual dining. There’s a five-oven Aga, an additional electric hob, plus two large electric ovens: enough to satisfy any budding master-chef. The Dining Room is a strikingly decorated, formal room with chandelier and gas, coal-effect fire. The Drawing Room, with its open log fire overlooks the gardens and offers an abundance of comfy seating. The venue for enjoying a movie or two is the Entertainment Room, with its state of the art cinema system.
The Library is a calming room with soft seating and an open fire, offering guests the chance to seek peace or solitude. Also on this floor is the Study which has full wireless broadband internet access and a printer/copier for guests who simply must keep in touch with the real world. The Boot Room, which leads to the kitchen gardens and the main garden, is the perfect spot to drop your muddy wellies after a long walk. Also on this floor you’ll find the Utility Room, Wine Cellar, Cloakroom and WC.
First Floor
The first floor boasts three large double bedrooms and a games room together with a further shower room and WC.
The Master Suite, with its dressing room and huge en suite bathroom with slipper bath and walk in shower overlooks the front and side of the house. The two further en suite rooms on this floor are generously sized and feature a bay window and a modern four poster bed. The well stocked Games Room is also on the first floor and includes pool, table tennis and football tables to keep everyone occupied.
The Second Floor plays host to four large double bedrooms, two of which are en suite and two which share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
Grounds:
Davies Manor sits in three acres of landscaped gardens and offers a full size tennis court. The grounds are bordered by the river and open out onto farmland providing great walks on your doorstep.
