The property is a beautiful 19th century manoir - luxury villa, with six acre estate (2.6 hectares) found within the attractive village of Soustons, a village in an exceptional position, bordered on one side by the Atlantic Ocean and on the other side by a large fresh water lake, “Lac d'Soustons”, suitable for sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and swimming.
The rental price includes the following service & catering:
- Champagne reception upon arrival (soft drinks for the children).
- Daily breakfast (Full English and Continental breakfast) served on the poolside terrace, in the grand dining room or in the privacy of your own room, if preferred.
- Daily afternoon tea with a selection of cakes, muffins, biscuits, fresh fruit, tea, filtered coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks & juices.
- Three lunches: A gourmet BBQ served on the poolside terrace; wine/beer/soft drinks included. Two 3-course lunches served on the poolside terrace; wine/beer/soft drinks included
- Three gastronomic four-course evening meals with complimentary regional wine served either inside in the grand dining room or alfresco-style, on the poolside terrace. An a-la-carte wine list will also be available.
- Free use of sporting equipment including mountain bikes, tennis, table-tennis, badminton, croquet, boules, football, volleyball and croquet.
- Drinks service by the pool.
The property is located close to Biarritz and just 7km from the outstanding Atlantic coast making it a perfect base from which to explore the south-west region of France famous for its gorgeous golden sandy beaches that stretch for miles, its majestic lakes, forests, vineyards and world-famous golf courses.

Built in 1900, and entirely restored in 2002-2003, arguably one of the most beautiful properties in Soustons, it is the largest property in the village, and has many qualities one would expect from a luxury residence. It boasts nine large en-suite bedrooms, a grand reception lounge and hall, spacious dining room with period coving, billiards room and anterooms, with high ceilings, original oak parquet floors and an impressive oak staircase.
The grounds encompass a new 15m x 7m heated swimming pool, huge shaded terrace with fully equipped summer kitchen, tennis court, numerous other sporting facilities all set within beautiful mature gardens with century old trees.
