Some 600 years old and wearing its age with dignity, Chateau Delande has seen a lot of history and is serenely untroubled by the petty minutiae of life. This is a grand generous place to which you might wish to invite 64 of your closest friends to enjoy the laid back splendour of the vast high ceilinged, wood panelled rooms. The chateau has all the traditional marble fireplaces, heavily beamed ceilings and acres of oak parquet floors, but the ensemble is friendly rather than intimidating, with an endearing homelike quality. The accommodation adapts to create space for a number of self-contained family units.
