The Chateau was built in 1839; the chateau has been totally restored & completed for the first time in its history, by its current owners, marrying elegance and character with comfort and convenience. The Chateau has a fascinating history; originally the site was home to an ancient monastery which was decimated during the Revolution; all that remains are the huge old gates with their coat of arms carved into the stone.
The Chateau is situated close to the medieval town of Bourges in the Berry Region. Your hosts, Jason and Philippa, are on hand to make sure your stay exceeds all expectations.
