General & History
The Chateau de la Beaulye is a beautiful château situated in the heart of one of the most ancient and stunning areas of France, the Périgord. Discreetly tucked away in the hills behind the main valley of the Dordogne, The Chateau de la Beaulye occupies an idyllic site embedded in a large private estate. The château sits on a hillside surrounded by fields, gardens, rolling meadows and forest, ensuring total peace and tranquility.
The Chateau de la Beaulye can sleep 9, and the nearby Pressoir de la Beaulye can sleep 10 in great luxury and style. Both properties have a private swimming pool and grounds. The properties are approximately 10 minutes walk from each other and can be rented independently or together of course.
Chateau de la Beaulye's architecture with its sand coloured stones is typical of the Périgord Noir emitting warmth and significant charm. Wonderful lemon trees line the castle's courtyard & the walls are covered in climbing roses all accentuating the enchanting atmosphere of The Chateau de la Beaulye.
With origins dating back to the XIVth century, Chateau de la Beaulye is one of France's listed historic monuments and has been in our family for more than 600 hundred years. Above all though, Chateau de la Beaulye is our family home and we would be happy to welcome you for a week or longer at any time of the year.
