A 15th century stone château, secluded but not isolated, set amongst the vine-covered hills south of Bergerac with views stretching across the Dordogne valley. The château on the edge of the village of Saussignac is the perfect place for your dream holiday. With its own heated swimming pool and set in a walled park with giant cedars and an ancient half-timbered pigeonnier, the Château is at the centre of a 100-acre wine estate producing superb quality wines.
The Château, recently completely restored, sleeps 12 in 5 en-suite bedrooms, two of which have four-poster beds. It is beautifully furnished with French antiques but with all the additional modern facilities. It is only a 15 minute drive from Bergerac airport with flights from Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Exeter, Leeds, Liverpool, Southampton, Stansted. It is about 1hour 15minutes drive from Bordeaux.
