Oenological Escapade — Wine discovery evening. Do you wish you knew more about wine, its production and, of course, tasting? Over a four-hour course, you will learn about vines and wine and wine tasting. A professional oenologist will initiate you in the art of the different aromas and awakening your own senses: eyes, nose and, of course, mouth, as it is in your mouth that the wine warms and diffuses its aromas.
The history of wine-growing in the Centre Loire region goes back to the Middle-Ages, and is intertwined with the history of the local towns and cities. The viticultural sectors in this area boasting the AOC label of quality occupy the most favourably exposed areas of the hillsides and plains, and include the wines of Pouilly, Sancerre, Menetou Salon, Quincy, Coteau du Giennois… the impressive list goes on. A traditional Burgundy buffet finishes off the evening, allowing you to wind down from the awakening of your senses.
Wine discovery evening: 90 € per person, meal included. ''
