Rent the enchanting Chateau Trichaud in the South of France with a private swimming pool and tennis court.

The chateau is the perfect destination for relaxing family holidays or even weddings. The chateau is surrounded by many acres of its own land and offers absolute privacy for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of the Dordogne. The chateau has been tastefully restored and furnished providing guests with 21st Century comforts together with the atmosphere and period character one can expect at an old castle. The chateau for example has a stone staircase leading upstairs, where one can find high ceilings with massive exposed oak beams.

The chateau can sleep up to 15 guests in its 6 large bedrooms. Guests at the Château Trichaud can enjoy the large fenced swimming pool (6mx12m), there is a BBQ area near the pool in the courtyard, and at the end of the garden there is a hard tennis court.

Dating from the 12th century, the Château Trichaud has thick stone walls, ancient oak beams, impressive vaulted ceilings, and numerous large stone fireplaces. The picture perfect château has a long private drive, and is set amongst magnificent mature gardens. The chateau enjoys 18 acres of private land and the grounds boast some impressive cedar trees. The immediate rolling countryside is beautiful with hardwood trees (Chestnuts, Oak, Cherries & Ash). Between the Château Trichaud and the local village at Thézac, there is a small vineyard (belonging to the Chateau) that produces excellent red wine.

Broadband internet access (DSL/ADSL) with wireless (WIFI) is available in Chateau Trichaud. Maid Service is included in the rental price 3 times a week and, if you prefer not to self-cater, a cook can be arranged upon request.
