The chateau sits on its own in nine hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens with fishponds, trimmed hedges, trees and shrubs. Bordeaux is approximately one hour away. The coastal town of Arcachon, famous for its sand dunes, is approximately two hours away whilst the famous vineyards of St. Emilion are only 45 minutes from the chateau.
Restaurants serving local cuisine are within easy access and, for the wine connoisseur, vineyards are in abundance. There is also an excellent choice of 18 hole golf courses all within easy reach of the Château. Markets can be found every day in all the local villages - supermakets and shops are also close at hand. We can arrange wine tasting, trips on the Canal including lunch, and coach trips to various famous towns and cities.
