The glorious Chateau Cardoux is situated in its own private grounds and comes complete with a tennis court and swimming pool.

The chateau is the perfect size for relaxing family holidays or even more special events. The chateau is surrounded by many acres of its own land and offers absolute privacy for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of the Dordogne. The chateau has been tastefully restored and furnished providing guests with 21st Century comforts together with the atmosphere and period character one can expect at an old castle.

The chateau can sleep up to 21 guests in its 12 bedrooms. Guests at the Chateau Cardoux can enjoy the large fenced swimming pool (6mx12m), there is a BBQ area near the pool in the courtyard, and at the end of the garden on the other side of the barn there is a floodlit hard tennis court!!

Château Cardoux is set in a magnificent spot right in the middle of its 125 acre woodland garden estate, with views across the Golden Valley, Vallée d'Or. One can see as far as the hilltop bastide town of Monflanquin which is 20km away. The chateau is approached up a long private drive, through a spectacular plantation of mixed trees and firs.

The accommodation is mostly on the ground floor at the Chateau Cardoux, which makes it a very comfortable house to stay in. The chateau has cellars below and a huge insulated attic above and thus is able to expand or contract according to the size of your group.

Maid Service is included in the rental price 3 times a week and, if you prefer not to self-cater, a cook can be arranged upon request.
